Crossroads in game

In game, Trade only shows the players on your layer. Crossroads is the Trade chat for your whole realm. Here's how to keep it in view while you play.

Pin your room's channel with the Discord overlay

Every Crossroads room has a channel in the Warchest Discord (region, ruleset and faction, like us-pvp-horde) with its Trade chat, groups and crafters as they happen. Discord can show a channel on top of the game:

  1. Join the Warchest Discord and open the channel for your room.
  2. Turn the overlay on: in Discord, User Settings > Game Overlay, switch on the in-game overlay. Then in Registered Games (or Activity Privacy > Registered Games), make sure the overlay is on for World of Warcraft.
  3. In game, open the overlay with its shortcut (Shift + ` by default), open your room's channel, and press the pin on the chat window. It stays on screen, and you can move it, resize it and make it see-through.

Discord's menus move around from time to time; if a step looks different, look for Overlay in Discord's settings.

Prefer the website? Keep Crossroads open on a second screen or your phone. Watching for something? Crossroads can alert you, with a sound, when an item or your name comes up in Trade.

Bring your layer's Trade along (optional)

The Warchest Companion app adds what's said in your in-game Trade to Crossroads, so players on other layers see it too. It's optional, and the game saves chat in bursts, so those lines can arrive a few minutes after they were said; Crossroads shows when each was said.
